Student Registration Program Wisconsin’s tourism industry sets aside three days a year to discuss hospitality-related issues and assess ways to service Wisconsin’s ever-growing tourism industry. The 2008 conference themed Leadership…Inspire Greatness, provides an excellent learning opportunity for students involved in hospitality and tourism programs to gain knowledge while learning about the latest trends affecting our industry. It also provides an avenue for potential employers to meet students during various functions at the conference. Student registration is easy! The attendance costs for this conference are minimal compared to the valuable insights you will take home. The $75 student rate includes the general sessions, your choice of workshops, materials, conference meals, receptions, Tuesday evening’s Governor’s Banquet, and accommodations for up to three nights. (The Department will make lodging arrangements for all student groups.) There is also a one-day registration rate of $25.00 per person for those who cannot attend all three days. This rate does not include lodging. The value of this package is approximately $475 per student. The registration fee is per person and based on double-quad occupancy – the cost will be $25.00 more per person if you choose to room alone. This year we are offering you the option to room with up to three other students, realizing that the rooms do only have two queen beds and in some cases a king with a pull out couch. Please see your faculty instructor regarding your lodging choices. Click here for Student Registration Instructors! Please have students fill out the registration forms either online or using a paper copy. Submit the lodging preferences along with any paper registration forms to our office no later than February 8th, 2008. As a special incentive for faculty who will be accompanying their students to the conference, we are extending the same low registration rate – $75 for all three days. Faculty will be housed in the same hotel as students and are responsible for their own lodging.
